Commissar sculpt

Warhammer 40000 Female Commissar sculpted at about 1/30th scale (and is thus a little more than two inches tall)

Contrary to my belief, it turned out that I did have some spare time, which I used doing a few tweaks to this piece before I get ready to paint it.

For the most part, this was sculpted from Jan 26th through to Feb 1st - an attempt to design and sculpt a model within a week! More or less, I did it, although I've done a little work on it since. (Not much, nor very fast - I needed a break!)

So far, she's unnamed - I have only the most basic ideas of who she is. I'm sure I'll work her out eventually - spontaneity every now and again can't hurt.

As far as time spent, you're probably looking at about 30 hours work to this point. After painting... I don't know yet, I haven't done it!

EDIT: Oh yeah. I should mention that this was done for the weekly art challenge at Ordo Illuminatus.
I'm not sure they were expecting this.

Sketches, yes. Sculpted miniatures, no.
